On Monday, the topping-out ceremony for the logistics project in Gotha/Emleben was celebrated by OFB Projektentwicklung. Completion is scheduled for September, and from the handover in October, the Nagel-Group will use the building as the sole tenant.

André Pleines, Executive Director Real Estate at the Nagel-Group: “The new logistics center in Emleben is a central component of our strategic modernization and sets

standards in sustainable and efficient logistics. We are very much looking forward to moving in shortly and to a long-term partnership with the community of Emleben and OFB.”

The property on the approximately 35,000 square meter site is being realized according to specified sustainability standards. A DGNB Gold Certification and an EU taxonomy-compliant execution are planned.

The energy concept includes air-water heat

pumps and a photovoltaic system of about 8,800 square meters on the hall roof, which is expected to save around 870 tons of CO2 per year. Ralph Holeschovsky, Branch Manager of OFB in Erfurt:

The new building is the third location of the Nagel-Group in the Gotha district and is specifically designed for the storage of temperature-sensitive food.
