According to the manufacturer, the Opel Combo is suitable for a variety of applications in retail, crafts and commerce. Opel works with conversion and fit-out partners – and is now entering into a cooperation with Bott, the provider of vehicle equipment and workshop outfitting.
Thus the Combo Electric has now been fitted with a cargo securing system that should withstand even demanding requirements and allow easy retrofitting of various vehicle fittings.

The basis for the Lasi system is a moisture-resistant, twelve-millimeter-thick birch plywood floor. On the top, a slip-resistant resin-film coating in Bott décor is used.
In the door areas, an aluminium edge protector is installed. Press-in nuts in the floor are intended to enable easy retrofitting of systems such as Bott vario3 vehicle fittings.

Vario protect-light is a UV-resistant interior wall cladding to protect against corrosion, impacts as well
as chemicals. In the case of leaking liquids, it is easy to clean, for example. The four-millimeter-thick cladding is made of recyclable polypropylene – the manufacturer points to the “Greenovation” approach.
In addition, the cargo securing base includes a case – for example with different lashing straps with hooks and clamps or a ratchet, cargo securing pads and case holders.
Lightweight and robust
The system is around 30 kilograms lighter, yet highly
durable. The battery-electric Opel transport van offers up to 4.4 cubic meters of cargo space and, when outfitted accordingly, can carry up to around 750 kilograms of material if it operates with zero local emissions.
