This new cooperation agreement, according to Movianto, eliminates the market-entry barrier for Movianto. Thomas Creuzberger, CEO of Movianto:

With the recently signed cooperation agreement, we save time to market, as we can offer solutions

to integrate the Portuguese market much faster than by building our own organization.”

Distribution tied to a warehouse in Portugal

In Portugal, the distribution of most medical goods is bound to storage in a warehouse within the country. Therefore, it cannot, for example, be organized from Spain, it continues. One is obliged to have warehousing and distribution capacity in Portugal itself that complies with GDP standards for the pharmaceutical and

healthcare sector.

Rangel founded the network in 2009 in Portugal and, according to its own statements, has developed into the national market leader for this sector. The company offers storage infrastructure for pharmaceutical and health products that require storage conditions between 15 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius or between 2 degrees and 8 degrees Celsius, as well as for psychotropic drugs, clinical trials, and products for veterinary use.

A nationwide

cold-chain transport network with active temperature control at two to eight degrees Celsius distributes medications and pharmaceutical products that are stored in one of Rangel's specialized pharmaceutical warehouses in the country. Nuno Rangel, Vice President and CEO of Rangel:
