The new property offers, according to Raben Group, a multiple of capacity with around 13,000 square meters of total space and a pioneering infrastructure for logistics and transshipment. The logistics company has moved in Garching from Robert-Bosch-Straße 5 to Schleißheimer Straße 87.
Transshipment area enlargedThe new facility includes around 2,200 square meters of transshipment area and around 5,000 square meters for logistics activities. This makes the location a powerful hub in the network and
lays the foundation for further growth, according to the company. Stefan Schmidmair, branch manager in Garching:
“With the quadrupling of our transshipment capacity, we reach a new dimension in our performance. In economically uncertain times, acquiring this property is a clear exclamation mark - towards our customers and also the competition. I am proud that our owner Ewald Raben has enabled this growth for us. This investment is a clear commitment to the future
of our forwarding company and a strong signal for our location.”
The property has been extensively modernized, and the office spaces have been fully renovated and brought up to the latest technical standard. The storage areas have also been revamped and equipped with modern LED lighting, which not only improves working conditions but also contributes to energy efficiency, according to the logistics company.
The new location also offers direct access to the highway, thus
providing ideal conditions for national as well as international transports. The strategic positioning in a sought-after logistics region is intended to give the location a competitive advantage over less well-connected alternatives.
With the acquisition of the property, there is a focus on long-term value stability and creating space for future developments. The area opens up a variety of possibilities for the expansion of services, the integration of new technologies, and adaptation to evolving market
