The Iveco Magirus AG will operate under the new name Iveco Deutschland AG starting from June 30, 2025. As the company announced in a press release, this step follows the already completed spin-off of firefighting activities and the Magirus brand. These have been transferred to Magirus GmbH by the turn of the year 2024/2025, which is no longer part of the Iveco Group.
According to Iveco, the renaming exclusively affects the name. The legal organization remains unchanged, as do the existing structures, responsibilities, and business relationships. The company emphasizes that the step has no impact on employees or customer relationships.
Christian Sulser, CEO of the future Iveco Deutschland AG, stated:
“The name change to Iveco Deutschland AG offers the opportunity to make the Iveco brand even
more visible in Germany – without giving up proven practices and at the same time creating a clear distinction from the Magirus brand.”
At the same time, he emphasized the company's commitment to continue focusing on continuity and reliability:
“For all employees and business partners, this means staying calm, as nothing changes in the daily work routine.”
Suppliers and service providers should use
exclusively the new name Iveco Deutschland AG in their communications and for invoices starting from July 1. Details like bank connections or VAT ID remain the same according to the announcement.
