Mansio is further advancing the development of its digital solution for relay traffic. According to the technology company, since May 1, 2025, hundreds of new exchange areas have been available to the participating forwarding companies. This is made possible through a partnership with the booking platform Travis, whose truck park network can now also be accessed by users of the Mansio solution.

The core of the collaboration is a technical interface between the systems of both companies. According to the description, this should allow the real-time transmission of all relevant information about Travis parking spaces into Mansio's digital environment. An algorithm then automatically calculates the optimal location for trailer exchange within the context of relay traffic based

on this information.

"The integration provides transport companies with access to a larger network of high-quality truck parking spaces. Thanks to the higher density of exchange points, our relay traffic can be planned and implemented even more efficiently without detours in the future," explains Dr. Maik Schürmeyer, founder and managing director of Mansio.

Travis also sees the technical integration of both systems as a pioneering step.

"We view digitally supported relay traffic as a key innovation for greater efficiency and sustainability in road freight transportation. We are excited to support this concept with our infrastructure and smart booking technology," says Max Zillinger, Business Development Manager at Travis.

According to the information, Travis's network currently includes more than

650 strategically located parking spaces in Europe. These locations not only provide space for the exchange of trailers but also offer modern rest facilities for drivers. Many spaces are equipped with sanitary facilities, showers, or additional services such as truck washes, Mansio reports. The partner companies also aim to contribute to improving working conditions in road freight transportation.

Relay traffic is considered a potential component for more efficient and driver-friendly organization of long-distance transportation. The principle: A driver brings the trailer to a defined transfer point, from where another driver of the same or a partner company takes over the transport. While the goods remain in motion, the driver can return to their home location after their

shift. This reduces waiting times, increases planning ability, and improves work-life balance.

Mansio positions itself as a European pioneer in this area. Through a virtual forwarding network, the company connects medium-sized transport companies with each other. The cloud-based software not only supports partners in the planning and implementation of relay traffic but also offers a trailer pool and an automated billing service with full transparency for all involved.

With the cooperation with Travis, Mansio not only increases the number of available exchange locations but also enhances the digital continuity of its solution. According to the company, the integration of Travis park data in real time provides the basis for a more comprehensive and flexible use of the
