The trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull is expanding its range of services to include mobile service vehicles. As the company announced in a recent press release, a new service van fleet has complemented the existing network of around 1,400 authorized partner operations in Europe since June 2025.

According to reports, the new vehicles offer maintenance, repairs, and spare parts supply directly at the customer's location or on the go. The company relies on

a franchise model: the vans are operated by independent partners, supported by Cargobull services such as IT, invoicing, and spare parts supply.

According to company information, only certified spare parts are used – including both original parts and so-called value parts. The latter are intended to facilitate repairs appropriate to the age of the vehicle. The range of mobile services includes work on trailers, refrigeration units, tires, and telematics systems, among other

things. The services are also aimed at vehicles from other manufacturers.

The first van is operated by Hatip Olcay, an experienced service and refrigeration technology specialist.

“Today I was on-site with the customer and retrofitted a telematics unit – at 29°C and bright sunshine. For the customer, this means: No workshop visit, which would cause additional time, costs, and organization, no driving time problems, since everything was installed without affecting driving times!

No stress, no interruption in the daily routine – simply uncomplicated. The customer was really satisfied that everything was implemented smoothly and directly on-site – without additional effort, without detours, without downtime. This is how service should be,” Olcay is quoted by Schmitz Cargobull.

According to the company, the rollout of service vans is planned step-by-step over the next three to four years. After starting in Germany, other regions in Europe will
