The Sostmeier Group has been based in Krefeld since 1978 and is expanding its capacities by moving to a new location in Krefeld-Fichtenhain. Storage, picking, and transshipment areas are operated on an area of 10,000 square meters. This expands the existing portfolio in the field of multi-user contract logistics and warehousing in Krefeld.
The
location's convenient connection due to its proximity to the A44 and A3 motorways, Düsseldorf Airport, and the ports, including those in Duisburg, Rotterdam, and Antwerp, is intended to enable fast and efficient transport solutions. According to the logistics company, the new location is of particular importance as a hub for goods traffic between Europe
and North Africa, especially for transport to and from Morocco.
Managing partner Jasmin Sotta expects significant revenue potential from moving to the new location, according to her own statements:
"With this move, we are continuing our path of consistent growth strategy and strengthening our network of logistics locations throughout Europe. The new location expands
the existing range of services and offers medium-sized companies in the region new opportunities in the area of international transport and logistics solutions."
