DKV Mobility expands its EETS toll solution so that European-wide toll settlement with the DKV Box Europe is now also possible in the Czech Republic.
The European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) enables toll payment with just one contract and one device, independent of the respective national toll systems, on various European roads. Until now, Czech toll payments could be settled, among other options, via national toll boxes such as MYTO CZ.
Centralized and simple
With an On-Board Unit, 19 toll services in 16 countries can currently be used. These include, among others, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Additionally, the box covers selected bridges and tunnels, such as the Warnow Crossing and the Herrentunnel in Germany, the Liefkenshoektunnel in Belgium, as well as the Scandinavian Bridges. Jérôme Lejeune, Managing Director responsible

Effortless expansion
According to the company, the DKV Box Europe can be installed and configured easily. Existing
users could simply activate the new toll service online; a replacement of the box is not required, it says. Thanks to a mobile interface, updates and enhancements are also performed “over the air.”
