With Webfleet Video 2.0, the company has launched an advanced AI-supported solution that is initially set to start in the EU. It introduces two new cameras, CAM Lite and CAM Pro, that use AI and machine vision to precisely analyze driving behavior, the condition of roads, and potential hazards.
According to the company, the system is complemented by additional cameras and accessories. The advanced system integrates safety, compliance, and insurance management into a comprehensive platform, it says.
It recognizes and warns drivers of many potential risks, including phone use while driving, tailgating, or driver fatigue, as well as risky behavior by other road users. AI-driven real-time feedback is also intended to help drivers respond appropriately immediately.
Preventing FraudAccording to Webfleet, fleet managers are supposed to receive precise, data-driven insights with the software solution thanks to the integration of Webfleet OptiDrive 360 and be able to track and improve driving behavior over time. Additional cameras
specifically capture the vehicle environment and protect sensitive goods. In the event of incidents, video recordings are automatically saved and uploaded to the cloud, it says. This is an advantage in accident investigation to expedite insurance claims and prevent fraud attempts.
