As of November 1, 2025, Antoine Duclaux will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Renault Trucks. He succeeds Bruno Blin, who has led the company for several years and has significantly helped shape the transformation of the brand within the Volvo Group. Blin will remain with the group as a Senior Adviser and is to oversee strategic projects in this capacity.
Manager with international leadership experience at Volvo and Holcim
Antoine Duclaux is an experienced manager with extensive industry knowledge and international leadership experience. The native Frenchman joined the Volvo Group in May 2020
and initially worked in Sweden as Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management. In this role he reported directly to the Board of AB Volvo. Previously, Duclaux held management positions at the Holcim Group for several years, including as CEO in various regions of Latin America, the Middle East, and Central Europe. He also was responsible there for the areas of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Internal Audit.
Since July 2024, Duclaux has led Renault Trucks' international business. His areas of responsibility include the markets in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as
the strategically important business areas Emergency and Defense. In his career to date, he has repeatedly demonstrated that he can increase operational efficiency and successfully implement complex transformation processes.
Bruno Blin, in a statement, highlighted the collaboration with the Renault Trucks team and the progress achieved. Under his leadership, the company was able to strengthen its market position, deepen its understanding of customers, and establish itself as a pioneer in electromobility. Blin expressed confidence that Antoine Duclaux is the right choice to lead Renault Trucks through the next phase of transformation.
Duclaux emphasized in an initial reaction
that he felt honored to receive the trust for the new role. His previous positions within the group had given him important insights to profitably and sustainably develop the company together with the teams. In doing so, he intends to uphold the values of the Volvo Group and to help shape the industry consistently toward decarbonization.
The French commercial vehicle manufacturer Renault Trucks belongs to the Volvo Group and employs around 9,400 employees worldwide. Production takes place at four sites in France. The sales and service network comprises 1,500 locations worldwide. In 2024, 56,898 vehicles were sold.
