With effect from October 1, 2025, Gebrüder Weiss GmbH branch office Aldingen and CargoLine will cooperate. This simultaneously gains the general cargo cooperation a new franchisee for the region.
Swiss Post Cargo withdraws
According to the information, the current network partner for Aldingen, Swiss Post
Cargo (formerly Hugger GmbH), wishes to gradually give up the general cargo business in Germany by September 30, 2025.
Gebrüder Weiss operates a logistics facility in Aldingen with 6,000 square meters of transshipment area and 65 loading gates. Currently, 70 employees are employed there.

are very pleased to occupy the region around the long-standing location Aldingen with a new partner. Gebrüder Weiss masters the general cargo business from A to Z and will significantly strengthen our network locally,” explains CargoLine Managing Director Jörn Peter Struck.
The general cargo cooperation
CargoLine is a cooperation for intercontinental general cargo transport. The nationwide network currently consists of 53 medium-sized transport and logistics service providers, complemented by international partners. According to the information, the focus is on system-driven transport services, distribution, procurement, and contract logistics, as well as
