Since June 2025, CharterWay has been offering the fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 for rent. The offer is aimed at companies in long-distance freight transport that wish to gradually convert their fleet to alternative drives. According to the manufacturer, the eActros 600 has a range of around 500 kilometers without intermediate charging and
a battery capacity of over 600 kilowatt hours. The equipment includes several assistance systems, including Active Brake Assist 6, Active Sideguard Assist 2, and an extensive sensor system to increase traffic safety.

eActros as a Truck-as-a-Service Model
The vehicle is embedded in a Truck-as-a-Service model. In addition to flexible rental periods, CharterWay offers a modular service package that includes charging infrastructure, consulting services, maintenance, and digital applications. This is intended to provide an economically
and technologically secure access to electromobility in the heavy commercial vehicle segment.
CharterWay operates more than 70 rental locations in Germany and manages over 6,000 vehicles. By adding the eActros 600 to its rental portfolio, the company expands its offer for emission-free long-distance transport and simultaneously addresses the growing demand for sustainable transport
