Crown is expanding its product portfolio with the new WJ 50 series of electric walkie pallet trucks. The compact devices are aimed at users in logistics, retail, and transport who work in confined spaces. According to the manufacturer, the models are distinguished by particularly short headlength and high maneuverability.
The devices are comparatively light with a weight of around 160 kilograms, yet according to specifications,
they can carry loads of up to 1,500 kilograms. The headlength is 370 millimeters, and the turning radius is 1,319 millimeters. Thus, the series is aimed at applications such as loading areas, curbside deliveries, or narrow storage aisles.
The pallet trucks feature a vertically mountable tiller, one-handed control and an optional accessory program. The design eliminates plastic covers and instead relies on steel, which is
intended to increase durability during continuous use. A closed design serves to protect mechanical components.
Crown V-Force batteries with lithium-ion technology
Lithium-ion batteries from the V-Force series are used for power supply. These were developed by Crown for use in industrial trucks and are characterized by high energy density, long lifespan, and short charging times. An integrated battery management system provides status information directly on
the vehicle and is intended to contribute to safety and efficiency of power supply. The V-Force batteries are compatible with various vehicle types and chargers from the manufacturer and meet international safety standards, according to the information provided.
The new series is delivered with a warranty package that includes three years on chassis and forks, two years on batteries, and one year on main components.
