F-Trucks Deutschland GmbH handed over on 17 October 2025 the first 15 of a total of 25 new Ford F-Max Gen 2.0 to Zeitfracht Logistik GmbH. The keys were handed over at the Zeitfracht site in Erfurt, according to the information.
Creating synergies
This is another milestone in the partnership closed in 2025 between Kolibri Beteiligung GmbH, Ford Trucks and the Haupt Racing Team (HRT). The aim is to leverage synergies between logistics, technology and motorsport and to push innovation
and efficiency in the commercial vehicle sector.
“With Ford Trucks and HRT we pool competencies from different worlds – logistics, automotive and motorsport,” explains Wolfram Simon-Schröter, Managing Director of Kolibri Beteiligung GmbH.
Under the agreement, Ford Trucks will supply the heavy trucks that are used by Zeitfracht Logistik. The partnership also includes close technological collaboration with the motorsport team HRT.
In close proximity to the Nürburgring, companies of the Kolibri Group – including Zeitfracht Logistik, Zeitfracht Medien and German Airways
– are developing at the so-called HRT Race Base, the operations center for the Haupt Racing Team, together with HRT, new logistics technologies as well as optimized logistics processes. The focus is on efficiency and sustainability in fleet operations.
Technical equipment
The new generation of the Ford F-Max Gen 2.0 is, according to the manufacturer, equipped with an evolved Ecotorq engine and is expected to score with very good aerodynamics. In addition, digital solutions such as Ford ConnecTruck are expected
to enable intelligent fleet management. According to F-Trucks, this leads to reduced fuel consumption, lower operating costs and greater driving comfort.
“We are very pleased to have a significant strategic partner on our side with Zeitfracht. Together with the Kolibri Beteiligung and Haupt Racing Team we are setting new standards at the intersection of technology, efficiency and practical experience – and creating real added value for our customers in the logistics sector,” says Bernhard Kerscher, Managing Director of F-Trucks Deutschland
