Bizerba is presenting its portfolio of packaging solutions at this year's FACHPACK in Nuremberg. The company is represented with two booths: In Hall 3C (Booth 468), the focus is on inspection systems, weight control, and automated product handling, while in Hall 3A (Booth 416), innovative labeling solutions are the main focus.
Packaging Integrity and End-of-Line
In the area of packaging integrity, Bizerba is introducing
the new inline system "LeakSecure." It detects even the smallest CO₂ leaks in modified atmosphere packaging with semi-rigid trays in real-time and can be integrated into existing lines. It is complemented by the camera-based "SealSecure" system, which examines seal seams for typical defects like wrinkles or product inclusions. Both systems aim for reliable quality control.
For automated end-of-line processes, Bizerba is showcasing a labeling
solution with a GLP printer and swing-arm applicator, specifically for large containers and transport packaging. Additionally, the company demonstrates approaches for automated product and crate handling.
Traceability and Resource Conservation
At the second booth, labels focusing on traceability and resource conservation are in the spotlight. Presented are, among other things, RF labels for theft prevention in retail as well as "CleanCut" linerless labels without
backing material. The latter reduce material consumption and maintenance effort and are suitable for various labeling formats like full-wrap or C-wrap.
With the thematic division of its trade fair appearance, Bizerba addresses different requirements along the packaging chain – from inspection and automation to sustainable labeling.
