At the packaging trade fair FACHPACK 2025 (September 23 to 25, Nuremberg), Expresso Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG will present a selection of technical solutions for internal lifting, conveying, and positioning of loads. The focus is on ergonomically designed systems aimed at process improvement and workload reduction in warehouse, assembly, and production environments.
The exhibited items include the electric handling system "eBalanceLift ARM", the IoT solution "EXPRESSO Connect" as well as two mobile lift systems from the "lift2move" product series. The systems are modularly constructed, adaptable to different application scenarios, and are intended to enable a quick return on investment. According to the manufacturer, this averages about 0.4 years.
Lifting systems for different requirement profiles
The "lift2move selective" is designed as a preconfigured standard solution and is available for loads up to
125 or 200 kilograms. The device is available in three sizes and is intended for typical applications in warehousing, order picking, or production. The equipment includes a low-maintenance spindle drive, a sensor-based safety system, and a height-adjustable push handle.
The lifting speed can be adjusted in up to eight stages via a remote control. A replaceable battery pack with 18 Ah capacity is part of the basic equipment. The low undercarriage height of 88 millimeters and ten available load receptacles - including platforms, grippers, and roll turners - expand the application possibilities.
The "lift2move solution," on the other hand, is offered as an individually configurable variant. The system solution is available in three single-mast versions with load capacities up to 250 kilograms and a double-mast version for loads up to 400 kilograms.
According to the manufacturer, the combination with different chassis variants and specific load receptacles enables adaptation to process- or product-specific requirements. Integration into digital environments is provided via Industry 4.0 interfaces.
Additionally, features such as sensor diagnostics, programmable lifting positions (Vertical Position Control), and a telescopic mast for lift path extension are available.
Design and manufacturing at the Kassel site
All versions of the "lift2move" are manufactured in Germany according to the manufacturer. The "lift2move solution" features an all-steel chassis with a high lift mast base, long wheelbase, and lockable swivel castors. These features are intended to ensure high stability and maneuverability while also supporting ergonomic handling.
Digital networking via EXPRESSO Connect
With the IoT system "EXPRESSO Connect," the company presents a solution for the digitization of machine and plant data. The
system is modular and does not require intervention in existing IT infrastructures. Data collection is done via robust, compact Connect Boxes, which are connected to the respective devices or machines via universal interfaces (e.g., digital inputs and outputs, analog signals, or serial interfaces). Data transmission is encrypted via mobile communication (LTE-M or NB-IoT) to a secure cloud environment.
There, the information is available in a web-based dashboard, for example, for operational hour recording, maintenance planning, condition monitoring, or process visualization. The solution also supports alarm functions and individual threshold definitions. According to the manufacturer, "EXPRESSO Connect" is scalable, retrofittable, and suitable for both new machines and existing equipment. The goal is to create transparency about utilization, condition, and efficiency and thereby enable targeted optimizations in internal material flow.
