At FACHPACK 2025 in Nuremberg, Froeb-Verpackungen presents a new generation of protective packaging for the electronics industry. At booth 212 in hall 3, visitors can experience the company's ESD paper cushioning bag—a fully paper-based solution that excels in both functionality and environmental friendliness.
The packaging is aimed at manufacturers,
shippers, and service providers in the electronics sector, who need to protect sensitive components such as circuit boards, sensors, or chips not only from mechanical damage but also reliably against electrostatic discharge (ESD). The bag meets the requirements of DIN EN 61340-2-3 and offers tested dissipative ability according to
internationally recognized standards—a key criterion for use in ESD-sensitive areas.
Stable paper without plastic or additional coating
Technically, the product is based on stable paper with a basis weight of 85 grams per square meter. A special embossing ensures high cushioning effect, while the fully recyclable material dispenses entirely
with plastic or additional coatings. The bag can easily be disposed of with waste paper after use—a clear advantage over traditional plastic bubble mailers. Two standard formats (14.5 × 21 cm and 20.5 × 30 cm) are immediately available. Moreover, Froeb offers customized size solutions for specific applications.
