The Kögel Trailer GmbH will transfer its business unit "Kögel-Rent" to TIP Trailer Services Germany GmbH as of August 1, 2025. By integrating the rental fleet specialists for rental, leasing, and service of commercial vehicles, synergies should be created, and the service portfolio for transport and logistics companies should be expanded. In the future, TIP will take over the rental of Kögel vehicles and integrate them into its network available across Europe.

"Our customers gain access to one of the most powerful rental and service networks in Europe, while we simultaneously expand the visibility and reach of the Kögel brand in a targeted manner."

The dense service network of TIP allows Kögel trailers to be rented at short notice and independent of location, for example, to cover seasonal

demand peaks or in the case of temporary fleet expansion. At the same time, the entire Kögel vehicle portfolio remains preserved and can now be accessed through TIP. TIP's uniform maintenance and repair standards across Europe also ensure reliable operational readiness of the vehicles and contribute to the reduction of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Concentration on Core Business at Kögel

Kögel wants to concentrate more on its core business as part of the reorientation: the development and

production of sustainable trailer solutions. This also includes the "Kögel Cool Liteshell," which was presented at the IAA 2024 and is expected to score with low dead weight and improved CO2 balance. Additionally, the company is investing in digital services around trailer operations.

With the transfer of "Kögel-Rent," Kögel creates the conditions to offer rental customers even broader service and greater flexibility through TIP. At the same time, the Kögel brand is further strengthened by its presence in
