Distribution bound to a warehouse in Portugal
In Portugal, the distribution of most medical goods is bound to storage in a warehouse located in the country. Therefore, for example, it cannot be organized from Spain, it continues. They are required to possess storage and distribution capacities in Portugal themselves in accordance with GDP standards for the pharmaceutical
and healthcare sector.
Rangel had launched the network in Portugal in 2009 and, according to its own statements, developed into the national market leader for this industry. The company offers warehouse infrastructure for pharmaceutical and healthcare products that require storage conditions between 15 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius or between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, as well as for psychopharmaceuticals, clinical trials, and products for veterinary use.
