The Wrightbus electric division Rightech has announced a strategic collaboration with Ferronordic as its official after-sales partner in Germany. With 800 employees worldwide, Ferronordic enjoys an increasing reputation for the sale, repair and maintenance of various types of machines, trucks, engines, spare parts and attachments. The company is an official dealer of Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks in Germany and operates 20 service locations across the country, which, the manufacturer hopes, will secure support for Rightech's electric truck RT75. Ferronordic technicians have been trained in Rightech's electric truck systems and diagnostic tools and are expected to guarantee service quality at manufacturer level, regional accessibility and fast response times.

the product with the best service partners on the market. We chose Ferronordic because we both are committed to sustainability. The partnership supports the mission of both companies to drive the introduction of emissions-free commercial vehicles across Europe," explained CEO Jean-Marc Gales.
Rightech will handle the entire vehicle sales process, while Ferronordic will serve as the point of contact for ongoing service and customer support. Gales promises fleet operators "a reliable, local service from day one."
Electric 7.5-ton truck with Isuzu cab
The 7.5-ton truck was unveiled earlier this year. All Rightech sales are bundled with a Wrightbus warranty as well as a service and maintenance package that is also supported by the largest fleet of mobile technicians in Great Britain. In addition, OEM sales and
marketing teams, telematics software and route optimization tools are to be provided. The service contract with Sapphire Vehicle Services for the United Kingdom expands Wrightbus's existing three workshops in Ballymena, Bicester and Warwick to 19 regional workshops. The contract with Ferronordic, in turn, expands this service network to a large part of Germany and thus complements Wrightbus's regional service hub in Brühl. There are also contracts to support sales in France and the Benelux countries.
Ryze Power, part of a portfolio of net-zero companies led by Wrightbus owner Jo Bamford CBE, is also planned to provide robust charging infrastructure and expertise, while W-Tech, the technology and research center founded by Wrightbus in collaboration with Queen's University Belfast, is intended to help bus and truck operators optimize
routes for maximum efficiency within the fleet.
Alliance with Chinese manufacturers as the basis
A strategic framework agreement with two Chinese manufacturers forms the basis for the new products, even though Wrightbus engineers have spent more than 30,000 hours bringing the fleet up to Wrightbus standards, as the manufacturer emphasizes. Thus, each element has been tested, homologated, designed and validated independently.
“Wrightbus has been championing emissions-free transport long before anyone else. Our hydrogen double-decker bus was the first of its kind worldwide, and we have 2,000 electric buses in operation, which cover millions of kilometers in Great Britain and Europe, with an operating availability of 98.6%," explained Gales, who has worked in the automotive industry for four decades in the fields of trucks, cars and buses.
