The wearable manufacturer ProGlove held its industry event "ProPulse" for the first time on September 30, 2025 at BMW Welt in Munich. Under the motto "Workforce Intelligence" around 300 professionals and executives from industry, logistics and technology gathered to discuss approaches for a more efficient, safer and human-centered work on the shop floor.
The program included talks, live demonstrations and startup pitches focusing on practical solutions that show impact without requiring fundamental
retooling. At the center were human-machine interaction, intelligent systems and real-time decisions.
Contributions from Mercedes-Benz, Ford and DHL provided insights into ongoing digitization projects. In a live demo, ProGlove founders Thomas Kirchner and Paul Günther presented new AI features in the Wearable Scanning. The system "MAI" uses speech processing and visual feedback and acts as a digital workforce assistant.
“Workforce Intelligence Leader Award” and “Next Gen Solution Award”
At the end of
the event, two awards were presented for the first time. The Workforce Intelligence Leader Award went to the Volkswagen Group OTLG for the modernization of a brownfield warehouse using hands-free scanning and process-related data analyses. The implementation led to higher work pace, improved ergonomics and data-based decisions. Other nominees were Pharmaserv and Żabka.
The Next Gen Solution Award was awarded to Versatile Robotics. The company impressed with modular, scalable automation solutions that
are geared toward a human-centered implementation. Among the other finalists were FlowForge and Ease.
ProPulse 2025 demonstrated that digital transformation can be implemented even in ongoing operations. Wearables and modular automation solutions enable closed data loops directly at the workplace, create transparency in processes and contribute to higher quality and ergonomics. What matters is integration into existing systems as well as the ability to rapidly scale pilot projects in a demand-driven manner.
