With the new cloud platform "proLogistik NEO", the proLogistik Group presents an integrated solution for the digital management of the entire supply chain. The platform brings together central supply-chain applications such as warehouse management (WMS), transport management (TMS), business intelligence (BI) and an AI-assisted control center system in a single user interface.
"proLogistik NEO unites warehousing, transport, analytics and our AI control center in one interface – this reduces complexity and speeds up decisions. In addition, our customers benefit from an integrated E-Learning Academy," says Jörg Sänger, CEO of the proLogistik Group.
The goal is to replace siloed, standalone solutions, reduce operational complexity, and increase efficiency along the entire logistics chain.
Central master data maintenance and role-based access control (RBAC)
At the heart of the platform is an enterprise-wide data warehouse that centrally consolidates data from proLogistik's own systems as well as from third-party systems such as ERP, CRM or MES solutions. This creates a unified, analyzable data base. It is complemented by central master data maintenance and a role-based access control
(RBAC), which improves data quality and reduces administrative effort.
The BI module of "proLogistik NEO" offers interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities. Users gain access to KPIs that range from strategic overviews to operational detail information. The information can be analyzed almost in real time or evaluated in batch processing. This makes decisions more well-founded, more transparent and usable across departments.
"AI Control Center" integrates two specialized agents for warehouse KPIs and simulation
A distinctive feature is the "AI Control Center", which integrates two specialized agents. The "AI Control Agent" acts as an assistant system that answers questions about warehouse KPIs or processes via chat—without resorting to support or documentation. The agent provides relevant KPIs, issues early warnings when deviations occur, and offers context-based recommendations for the operational business.
The second agent, "AI Optimizer", uses a digital twin of the warehouse to simulate various scenarios. It evaluates alternative approaches and thus controls, for example, warehouse space allocation, order bundling or picking routes—with the aim of automating processes, shortening times and evenly loading the
staff.
"On this basis, warehouse spaces are allocated optimally, orders are efficiently bundled, and the routes of pickers are targetedly controlled. This significantly reduces order preparation time, automates processes and ensures a uniform workload for the employees," explains Thulackshan Mohan, CTO of the proLogistik Group.
Existing customers can connect existing IT structures to the new platform
Another central element of the platform strategy is the "dock-in" principle—docking rather than migrating. Existing customers do not have to replace their current systems immediately. Instead, they can connect their existing IT structures to the new platform and directly benefit from the BI and AI features. The complete system modernization is carried out in stages, which aims to minimize project risks, increase planning certainty and enable a faster time-to-value.
For communication with partners and customers, the platform provides an integrated EDI hub—the so-called "pLG Supply Chain Connector". In addition, an E-Learning Academy supports the introduction and use of the platform through digital training and onboarding offerings. The platform is hosted in German data centers – including
the Frankfurt am Main region – and meets GDPR requirements as well as the standards of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI C5).
Industrial PCs and forklift terminals "Made in Germany"
In addition to the software solution, the proLogistik Group continues to provide industrial hardware such as industrial PCs and forklift terminals "Made in Germany," including service offerings. The combination of software, hardware and consulting aims to reduce media breaks, accelerate rollouts and standardize technical support.
The proLogistik Group employs around 750 employees at 17 locations. With its product portfolio in the areas of warehousing, transportation, hardware and consulting, it targets customers from wholesale and retail, industry, logistics services and e-commerce.
Seit Januar 2025 treten unter dem Dach der proLogistik Group die Active Logistics GmbH und die Cargo Support Group gemeinsam unter dem Namen proLogistik Transportation GmbH auf. The rebranding is intended to underline the proLogistik Group's strategy to position itself as a full-service provider for software solutions along the entire supply chain—from warehouse management and transportation management to global supply-chain
