The tire manufacturer Goodyear presents at the transport.ch 2025 trade fair in Bern (5 to 8 November) the new KMAX GEN-3. The latest generation of the KMAX tire series for trucks is intended to combine proven service life with up to 13 percent lower rolling resistance and improved traction. Goodyear promises fuel savings, reduced CO2 emissions and lower operating costs. The manufacturer will showcase the new development at Stand B002 in Hall 4.1 of BERNEXPO.
The target audience for the Goodyear KMAX GEN-3 is especially fleet operators
who, in view of rising requirements for profitability and environmental footprint, are seeking solutions. The tire consists of at least 40 percent sustainable materials—and, according to Goodyear, maintains the same durability. Only for the size 445/65R22.5 is a special compound used.

The KMAX GEN-3 is part of Goodyear's “Total Mobility” concept,
which offers fleets in Europe a modular total package of products, digital solutions and services. This includes, in addition to the new tire, tools such as “TPMS Connect” for the integration of OEM systems, the stationary tire condition tester “CheckPoint”, and the service package “Tires-as-a-Service” for outsourced tire management.
At the trade show stand, visitors learn on interactive screens and in direct dialogue with Goodyear experts how they can use the overall offering to increase their fleet efficiency, reduce downtime and improve their carbon footprint.

Gemeinsam mit Schmitz Cargobull hat Goodyear außerdem vor kurzem sein Reifendruckkontrollsystem „TPMS Connect“ direkt in die „TrailerConnect“-Plattform und das „Data Management Center“ (DMC) des Trailerherstellers integriert. Flottenbetreiber erhalten damit ohne zusätzliche Hardware Zugriff auf Echtzeitdaten zu Reifendruck, -temperatur und Position. Die prädiktive Analyse über „G-Predict“ ermöglicht frühzeitige Wartung und reduziert Ausfallzeiten. Alle Daten lassen sich im DMC zentral auswerten und mit weiteren Betriebsinformationen verknüpfen. Die Lösung sei sofort einsetzbar, datenschutzkonform nach DSGVO und kompatibel mit über 40 Telematikanbietern.
