Krone Trailer and the Winkler Group have agreed on a comprehensive cooperation in the field of original spare parts. The aim of the collaboration is to improve the availability of Krone original parts - including components such as underride protection systems - across Europe and to simplify access for workshops and fleet operators.

Winkler distributes Krone spare
parts through its own network
As part of the partnership, Winkler will take over the distribution of Krone spare parts through its own network in the future. With over 40 locations in Europe, around 1,700 employees, and three of the largest central warehouses for commercial vehicle parts, Winkler offers a powerful infrastructure for logistics and consulting. This provides customers with faster access to original parts and reliable support with technical assistance.

The collaboration is to be gradually expanded. In the long term, it is planned to comprehensively supply the Winkler sales network with Krone spare parts. Workshops and fleet operators could benefit from shorter delivery times, improved parts availability, and the expertise of the Winkler team.
Strong focus on spare parts and aftermarket at Krone
Recently, the trailer manufacturer Krone, together with the Italian importer Realtrailer, founded Krone Trailer Service Italia SRL. Since the end of 2024, a spare parts center in Mantova
has improved the availability of Krone spare parts in Italy and the surrounding countries.
As early as 2018, Krone consolidated the company's spare parts logistics in its own distribution center in Herzlake. With an investment volume of around 8.5 million euros, a distribution center with a covered storage area of 8,400 square meters was created on twelve levels, accommodating 17,500 Euro pallets and 16,000 containers for smaller spare parts.
The shipping center's portfolio in Herzlake includes spare parts for trailers, superstructures, container chassis, flatbed and box semitrailers, courier-express-parcel (KEP) vehicles, and Krone's own trailer axles.
