"Embracing Change" – under this motto, Kai Althoff, Chairman of the Board of the Federal Association of Logistics (BVL) and CEO of 4flow, opened the BVL Supply Chain CX 2025 at the Estrel Berlin on the morning of October 22. For the second edition of the event for logistics and supply chain management, BVL expects up to October 24 around 2,300 participants. In Berlin more than 220 experts will speak and the Expo Area awaits with around 120 exhibitors and partners.
"We logisticians are professionals at managing changes," said Althoff at the opening. Accordingly, one would have to feel in the logistics field at the moment. "Embracing Change, however, can also be understood as a call to see
the opportunities in change." It is about using the transformation "to our advantage." For this, strategic foresight, creativity, and innovation are needed, Althoff stated. "And all of this alongside day-to-day business that is more demanding than ever."
"We need time for reflection. Time that we often do not have." According to the BVL chairman, the BVL Supply Chain CX should be the platform "that offers all of us the opportunity to take time for reflection." The successor event of the German Logistics Congress should give participants the opportunity "to find good conversation partners with whom we can exchange ideas on an equal footing." The BVL Supply Chain CX 2025 should, so Althoff, provide relevant input on trends and
on success concepts. Seven core topics revolve around the BVL Supply Chain CX 2025:
- "Geopolitics & Supply Chains",
- "Future of Organizations & People",
- "Transformation of Logistics Service Providers",
- "Sustainable Logistics",
- "Digitalization of Supply Chains",
- "Technology & Automation",
- "Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning".
