To provide professionals and executives with a practical understanding of the use of artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins and AutoID technologies, TÜV SÜD Academy and the Technical University of Munich will launch in autumn 2025 the modular continuing education series “Technology Manager Logistics TÜV/TUM”, according to a press release dated August 14.
Whoever combines certain modules can complete the program as a certified professional for digital transformation in intralogistics TÜV/TUM, a certified professional for technical innovation in intralogistics TÜV/TUM, or as Technology Manager Logistics TÜV/TUM.

A particular highlight is the hands-on day, which offers logistics managers the opportunity to practice their skills in a practical setting.”
Experience Day: Applying and Understanding Artificial Intelligence in Logistics
As part of the “Experience Day” at the Chair of Conveying Technology, Material Flow Logistics (fml), participants can translate theoretically learned knowledge into practice. They test methods and tools of AI, such as object recognition, classification or
forecasting, and work on concrete logistics-related tasks. For participants aiming for a certificate, the hands-on day is mandatory, but it can also be booked individually.
Cooperation with the fml Chair at TUM
To align the program in logistics for the future, the partnership with the Chair of Conveying Technology, Material Flow Logistics at TUM was established. Based on market analyses, learning paths were developed that address current topics and can be flexibly adapted to trends. The trainings are guided by experts from TUM as instructors. While the hands-on day takes place in the research laboratory of the chair, the remaining modules run online. Additionally, the participants work on a project to transfer
what they have learned directly into their corporate context.
