In early 2026, ID Logistics' French activities for Puma will be completely relocated from Landersheim to the new site in Vendenheim near Strasbourg. This is intended to support growth and strengthen the brand's logistical competitiveness, as stated in a press release from ID Logistics dated September 30. The 41,000-square-metre site has been awarded the BREEAM certificate "Excellent," is spread across four hall units, and is equipped with resource-oriented measures — including a rooftop photovoltaic system, intelligent LED lighting, rainwater harvesting systems, and biodiversity enhancement. The move to the new site is a major step in Puma's logistics transformation. Operations will commence on November 3, 2025 and will be ramped up
gradually to ensure continuity of business operations.
The new site in Vendenheim houses an AutoStore system operated by ID Logistics. With its 70,000 bins and nearly 100 robots, this robotic system enables high storage density and faster, more reliable, and more ergonomic picking. The technology will become the centerpiece of a facility designed to balance seasonal peaks and support the brand's strategy. Thanks to its modularity, capacity can be increased in the medium term.

A complete
technological ecosystem surrounds the AutoStore system for every step of the chain: telescopic conveyors for more ergonomic unloading, automated carton erectors to increase the efficiency of the preparations, a measurement and weighing system called "Cubiscan" at the goods receipt, carton sealing machines with height reduction during shipping for tailored and environmentally friendly packaging, as well as digital Easy-Check-in solutions to coordinate on-site transport operations. All of this is controlled by the Warehouse Management System "Reflex," which is connected to Puma's SAP ERP system and is intended to enable real-time traceability and transparency.
The relocation from Landersheim to Vendenheim will be carried out with all teams, ensuring that know-how is safeguarded
and the operation's stability is maintained. These teams will receive targeted support and training specifically tailored to AutoStore and the new processes. To support this transition, ID Logistics is also recruiting specialized technical professionals – experts in robotics, automation, and digital systems – who will be able to take responsibility for predictive maintenance and ongoing optimization of the facility.
