Coolblue, an electronics retailer with a strong presence in the Netherlands and Belgium, has expanded into southern Germany and opened its first logistics center in Baden-Württemberg on October 8. With the new location in Tamm near Bietigheim-Bissingen, the company brings its in-house delivery and installation service "CoolblueLiefert" to the Stuttgart metropolitan area. This is intended to enable fast and flexible delivery of household appliances and televisions to the desired
date starting the next business day in the region up to Karlsruhe and Heilbronn, Coolblue said in a press release on the same day. Small electronics products – such as smartphones, air fryers and the like – are delivered nationwide in Germany by the shipping partner DHL.
With the 2,258-square-meter logistics site on Frankfurter Straße in Tamm, Coolblue is opening up another catchment area in Germany.
Large appliances ordered
via the online shop or the Coolblue App are delivered on the requested date starting from the next business day and are optionally installed at the chosen location in the basement or in the apartment. For better planning, Coolblue provides a one-hour time window and calls again personally 15 minutes before arrival. Packaging materials and old devices are taken away by the company free of charge upon request for
proper disposal.
