At EXPO REAL 2025 in Munich, from 6 to 8 October, 1,742 exhibitors from 34 countries as well as around 42,000 participants from more than 70 countries gathered — a slight increase in attendance compared with the previous year. This was announced by the organizer of the international trade fair for real estate and investments, Messe München, in the final report.

“EXPO REAL 2025 has impressively shown that the real estate industry, after a period of uncertainty, is once again drawing confidence,” said Stefan Rummel, managing director of Messe München. “Despite

the still challenging framework conditions, a new dynamism has become perceptible. The constructive togetherness at the trade fair is a strong signal for a market that is stabilizing step by step. At the same time it confirms the importance of EXPO REAL as a central platform with clear business value, on which international players are forging new paths.”

EXPO REAL 2025, in which logistics real estate was among the core topics (LOGISTIK HEUTE reported), offered not only space to deepen existing networks and spark new projects. From Messe München's perspective, the

trade fair made clear above all how indispensable personal dialogue is for the industry. This was also emphasized by Kai Mende, CEO Germany at CBRE, a provider of real estate services and investment company:

CBRE: “EXPO REAL 2025 has fully met our expectations of its role as a forum for the industry. Nowhere else is it possible to exchange ideas so intensively, discuss challenges and opportunities, and maintain the network so efficiently. Especially in light of the beginning of a new cycle, this is more important than ever.”

Cities and regions

also used the trade fair, according to the organizer, strategically for dialogue with investors. Bernhard Grieb, managing director of Frankfurt Economic Promotion GmbH, said: “EXPO REAL is a central platform to present Frankfurt's strengths as an economic and real estate location internationally. After a challenging phase we see signs of stabilization of the real estate market and increasing interest in investments. Right now it shows how important EXPO REAL is: it fosters trust, exchange, and new investment impulses.”

The next EXPO REAL will take place from 5 to 7 October 2026
