BGO, a real estate investment management company, and Thirteen Seven, a German project developer based in Aachen, have signed a long-term lease for approximately 5,300 square meters of gross floor area in a new logistics property in Mittenwalde. This is taken from a press release by the two companies dated September 25.

The tenant of the property will be Edeka Minden-Hannover. The facility will be used as a reserve warehouse for the delivery of goods to Berlin and Brandenburg and complements the existing logistics center in Mittenwalde. The property

is located at Zülowstraße 5c in an existing industrial area in Mittenwalde. It was built to the DGNB Gold Standard by the German Sustainable Building Council. Planned are solar collectors, heat pumps, nature-based rainwater management, and energy-saving LED lighting.

“With the leasing of this warehouse, we sustainably optimize our space situation,” said Arnd Wilde, Managing Director of Logistics at Edeka Minden-Hannover. “Thanks to the modern building structure and the strategic location, we can make our delivery processes even more efficient and thereby ensure the supply of our markets in

Berlin and Brandenburg even more reliably.”

Realogis Berlin acted as exclusive advisor and intermediary for the tenant Edeka Minden-Hannover.

The new building offers three units with a total gross floor area of 12,800 square meters and a clear height of twelve meters. For efficient logistics, a total of 10,700 square meters of hall space, approximately 1,200 square meters of office space, and approximately 810 square meters of mezzanine space are available. In addition, the property features ten loading docks, three ground-level doors, a ramp gate, as well as 44

car parking spaces and four truck parking spaces.

“After receiving the building permit in September 2023, we were able to develop the project from the fourth quarter of 2023 and complete it on schedule. The high quality of equipment and good infrastructure, with immediate proximity to the Schönefeld interchange, appeals to a wide range of companies. For the two units of approximately 4,700 square meters and 2,800 square meters, we are in talks with potential tenants. They can be used individually or in combination,” reported Mirko Eickhoff, managing partner
