Alcaro Invest GmbH has completed the construction of the second of three halls of the project “Log Plaza Frankfurt (Oder)” in the Güterverkehrszentrum-Süd in Frankfurt (Oder). With around 100,000 square meters of rental space, Hall B is the largest unit on the 44-hectare site, according to a statement from Alcaro Invest dated September 19. The completion of Hall B was celebrated on September 18 in the presence of representatives from the city, administration, politics, and the project participants.
“With Hall B we have completed the heart of the development,” said
Markus Kroner, managing director of Alcaro Invest GmbH. “The spaces are flexibly divisible and cover a broad spectrum of use from logistics through e-commerce to light industrial.”
The new Hall B can be rented either as a total space or in units ranging from 6,800 to 10,400 square meters. In addition, Hall A, with around 47,500 square meters, will be available again from February 2026. For the planned Hall C, a further 24,000 square meters are planned. The site will comprise around 170,000 square meters of rental space in total,
as well as 900 car parking spaces and 84 truck parking spaces. A permit for storing lithium-ion batteries is in place.
The project meets the energy standard EG40 and has been awarded the DGNB Gold certificate. The facilities of the new hall include photovoltaic installations on the roof surfaces as well as charging points for cars and bicycles. In the hall sections, underfloor heating controlled by heat pumps provides energy-efficient heating. Furthermore, a charging hub for e-trucks is being built on the site to meet future logistics requirements.
Frankfurt (Oder)
lies directly on the A12/E30 motorway and is thus part of Europe’s most important east-west corridor. Berlin is reachable in around one hour, Warsaw in about four hours.
“In addition to modern spaces, our tenants in Frankfurt (Oder) benefit from location advantages such as fast permitting processes, attractive funding programs of the state of Brandenburg, and a strong logistics infrastructure,” said Dennis Knecht, Head of Sales of the Osmab Group.
