In the Taubengrund industrial area near Frankfurt Airport, a new large-scale logistics property is being built. The project is realized by a joint venture between Fraport Immobilienservice und -entwicklung GmbH & Co. KG and MB Park Deutschland GmbH. The new building, named “LogiSpace,” is already fully leased prior to the start of construction, according to a MB Park Deutschland press release dated October 21. Both companies thus continue their existing collaboration in the Rhine-Main area.

The property will be built on a site of around 48,200 square meters by the first

quarter of 2027. The flexible-use logistics property has approximately 25,230 square meters of hall and technology space on the ground floor. In addition, there are 3,360 square meters of gallery space on the first floor as well as about 3,300 square meters of office and social spaces on the first and second floors. Access is planned via 27 ramp doors and 14 ground-level doors. In addition, 147 car parking spaces and 15 truck parking spaces will be created.

Heat pumps will control cooling and heating in a resource-efficient manner. A large-scale

photovoltaic system will be used to supply the building's own energy. The partners aim for DGNB Gold certification (German Sustainable Building Council).

A development plan is in place. The building permit has been requested and earthworks are to begin in early 2026. The joint venture has already tendered the construction by a general contractor. The site borders Frankfurt Airport directly, not far from CargoCity Süd and CargoCity Nord. Tenants should benefit from the potential of the Frankfurt economic area: At and around Frankfurt Airport, one of Europe’s largest cargo aviation hubs,

numerous companies, logistics and CEP service providers are based.

“The prime location, intelligent building technology and high-quality rental spaces provide optimal conditions for companies that value efficiency and cost-effectiveness. We are delivering with LogiSpace an excellent multi-tenant-ready property and are placing emphasis on energy efficiency,” said Jan Sieben, Head of Real Estate Development at Fraport AG.

“The collaboration has proven itself in the past, which is confirmed by the signing of a lease agreement with a creditworthy and well-known company,” said Jonas Friederich and Jens Herbert, both managing directors of MB
