Ivalua, a provider of cloud-based spend-management solutions, and its partner Optis Consulting have automated the Source-to-Pay processes of IT and printer specialist Konica Minolta via the Ivalua platform. Ivalua recently announced this in a press release.

Deficiencies in Source-to-Pay Processes

Before deciding on Ivalua, Konica Minolta had identified deficiencies in its Source-to-Pay processes arising from fragmented systems and inconsistent processes. The reliance on manual, transactional tasks and the limited use of legacy platforms reduced spend transparency, impaired productivity, and prevented the teams from focusing on more strategic, value-oriented initiatives, according

to Ivalua.

To eliminate the current complexities and constraints, Konica Minolta entered into a partnership with Ivalua to optimize Source-to-Pay processes, including procurement, Supplier & Risk Performance Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, and invoicing, across all areas of purchasing and accounts payable.

Eliminating Silos

The company also uses Ivalua's intake-management solution, which enables employees to carry out procurement activities more easily and transparently. This, according to Ivalua, is intended to help eliminate silos and provide a more autonomous, intuitive, and user-friendly experience.

By using no-code/low-code configuration and integration with SAP, the

platform delivered a solution that meets Konica Minolta's specific business requirements. Through increased automation, improved spend transparency, and access to more actionable data, Konica Minolta is, according to Ivalua, able to achieve greater value creation, identify opportunities for cost savings, and assess procurement performance, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

“The integrated platform from Ivalua will be our single ‘source of truth,’ improve quality, and enable us to make faster and data-driven decisions,” said Holly DeSantis, EVP & Chief Financial Officer, Konica Minolta. “By choosing Ivalua as a partner and using their

configurable solutions, we are creating a seamless experience for both our employees and suppliers, which strengthens our commitment to being the company that is easiest to do business with.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Konica Minolta to the Ivalua customer community,” said Dan Amzallag, Chief Operating Officer of Ivalua. “By leveraging the capabilities of our unified platform, Konica Minolta will reach new levels of procurement transformation that are agile, intelligent, and truly scalable. We look forward to collaborating on their digital Source-to-Pay journey and jointly increasing efficiency, value, and
