The Raben Group Germany celebrated the official opening of its new Zero-Emission Logistics Center in Baden-Baden on the first weekend of August. According to a press release from the logistics provider on August 4th, the state-of-the-art depot has been successfully operating since June 1, 2025.

Ewald Raben, CEO and owner of the Raben Group, personally opened the celebration with a speech:

“Sustainable logistics

is not an option, but our responsibility. With the Baden-Baden location, we are creating a basis that combines economic efficiency and ecological responsibility - for our customers, our employees, and future generations.”

According to the company, the facility, covering approximately 30,534 square meters, is designed to modern standards and equipped with innovative technology.

According to Raben Group Germany, this includes:

  • More than 5,500
  • square meters of warehouse space for efficient goods management
  • 51 loading docks for fast turnaround processes
  • Zero-emission construction with energy-efficient building technology
  • Charging stations for cars and trucks to promote electromobility
  • 234 square meters of social spaces and eleven truck parking spaces for long-distance traffic
  • Modern workplaces for administrative and industrial staff

During the celebration, a new model Mercedes-Benz eTruck was also presented,

several of which the Raben Group plans to put into operation in 2025.

Marco Luh, Regional Director of the Raben Group Germany, emphasized:

“With this location, we are optimally positioned to meet the increasing demands of the market while consistently implementing our sustainability goals.”

The Raben Group intends the new depot in Baden-Baden to be understood as part of its long-term growth strategy.
