The BPW Group from Wiehl bought the Czech aftermarket parts dealer for commercial vehicles E.M.T. in mid-August. The company distributes spare parts for trucks, semi-trailers, trailers, buses as well as light commercial vehicles. Maintenance of the vehicles is also offered.
Radek Čermák, Managing Director of E.M.T., commented on the takeover as follows:
"With our eight locations and 55 employees, we will further drive the mobility partnership together with the BPW Group's subsidiaries. The BPW Group's strong spare-parts distribution network offers us the best prospects for long-term success."
Currently the company operates six branches in the Czech Republic (Modletice, Prostějov, Jihlava, Pilsen, Hradec Králové, Liberec)
and, through E.M.T. Slovakia s.r.o., also two branches in Slovakia.

According to BPW, E.M.T. is one of the most important distributors in the two countries and works with over 50 companies. In addition, they are experts in
spare parts and accessories with long-standing experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
E.M.T. is now part of BPW spol. s r.o., a subsidiary of the BPW Group, and thus part of BPW's spare-parts distribution network. The automotive specialist hopes for faster and more reliable supply for its commercial-vehicle customers from the takeover.
