Electrofleet founded the industry initiative "TCO Alliance" in autumn 2024. The network has been operational since early 2025. The aim is to provide operators of truck fleets with technical solutions for electrification and to present the ecosystem necessary for it. The focus is on a competitive total cost of ownership.
Membership structure and responsibilities
According to the information, the TCO Alliance currently comprises six partners: Electrofleet, Ferronordic e-Rental, Avalon Solutions, K2 Mobility, Fraunhofer IFAM, and Power Innovation Stromversorgungstechnik. Initial projects to realise
charging-park solutions at depots are in planning stage.
"The goal of our TCO Alliance is to provide all technical solutions required for a successful transition from diesel to electric trucks," says Mark Hellmann Regouby, founder and CEO of Electrofleet. "With this industry network we provide truck fleet operators with the complete ecosystem around the electric truck — and all from a single source."
Events and communication
The initiative participates in trade fairs, its own professional events, as well as through digital channels
such as a website and a LinkedIn profile. On 17 October 2025, the TCO Alliance will be represented at the e4 Testival at the Hockenheimring. There, a workshop and test drives with electrically powered trucks are planned.
Technical focus areas
The members cover different areas of the electric truck ecosystem. These include power supply and financing, software for load- and charging-management as well as route planning, analyses of total costs and dimensioning of energy systems, operationally integrated depot- and route-management, rental and
sale of vehicles, battery storage, as well as charging infrastructure.
Solution portfolio
According to Electrofleet, the offering ranges from fleet analyses through planning and installation of charging infrastructure to the provision of IT systems for operation and monitoring. In addition, there are leasing and rental models for electric trucks, hardware for power supply and charging points, as well as financing for certain components. In addition, Electrofleet offers electricity from renewable energies at long-term fixed prices with terms of up to 20 years.
