Fiege continues its sustainability course and has put six more heavy electric trucks into operation. In addition to the eight existing vehicles from Volvo and Designwerk, six additional eActros 600 will be on the road going forward.

Decarbonize transport

The vehicles are to be deployed at the branches in Rangsdorf, Unna, Bremen and Bocholt for customers from various industries. Felix Fiege, Co-CEO of the Fiege Group:

The new electric trucks will help us further reduce our CO2 emissions and meet our ecological responsibility as a logistics provider.“

Fast charging possible

The new eActros 600 belong to the heavy electric truck segment and are specifically designed for long-haul. With a total gross battery capacity of 621 kilowatt-hours, the vehicles have a range of up to 500 kilometers with a payload of up to 26 tonnes.

A so-called Combined Charging System (CCS) should also enable very fast charging at up to 400 kilowatts. Stephan Wittenbrink, Managing Director of the Fiege business unit Transport:
