After four years at the helm of Kögel Trailer GmbH, CEO Christian Renners will leave the company on September 30, 2025. Until his departure, he will accompany the handover of his duties within the company.

The interim management will be shared between two people: Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Thore Bakker additionally takes responsibility for marketing and product management. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Christian Spengler will temporarily oversee the areas of production, quality, engineering and technology. A successor for the position of CEO has not yet been named.

The company thanks Renners for his contributions in recent years. The owner and the team of Kögel Trailer GmbH wish him all the best both professionally and privately.

Kögel is among the

leading European manufacturers of trailers and semi-trailers for the transport and construction sectors. The company, based in Burtenbach, Bavaria, has been involved in the development and production of commercial vehicles for more than 90 years. In addition to the headquarters, it operates further plants in Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark and – currently dormant – in Russia.

Only a few weeks ago, Kögel had withdrawn from the rental business and handed over its rental fleet to TIP Trailer Services. The company said it wanted to focus on its core business. For rental customers, the cooperation should bring more availability, a Europe-wide service network and more flexible deployment options – while maintaining access to the complete Kögel vehicle portfolio, according
