As of August 1, 2025, Mustafa Tonguç, currently Managing Director of DHL Express Germany, has additionally taken on the board responsibility for DHL Express Austria. In this role, he reports to Mike Parra, CEO of DHL Express Europe, just as he does in his function as Managing Director of DHL Express Germany. Tonguç began his career in 1997 as an Operations Agent at the Frankfurt Hub and has since held various key positions within the organization, primarily in hubs and gateways. In 2011, he was appointed Managing Director Performance and Programs Europe. In 2014, he took on the role of Head of Operations in Turkey and later became Head of Sales before taking over the position of Managing Director Turkey in May 2021.
Gian Paolo Gotelli is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TX Logistik AG. He succeeds Ugo Dibennardo, who has stepped down as Chairman of the Board of the railway logistics company. The board is completed by Dirk Steffes, Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Albert Bastius, Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Marcin Dudek, Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
François Provost has been appointed the new Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) of Renault S.A. and Chairman of Renault s.a.s.. With the initial four-year appointment, the Board of Management of the Renault Group, chaired by Jean-Dominique Senard, follows the recommendation of the Governance & Remuneration Committee, according to reports. Provost has been with the corporate group for 23 years. The company also announces his appointment as a board member of Renault S.A. and Renault s.a.s. Previously, Provost acted as Chief Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer.
The Supervisory Board of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) has appointed Jeroen Eijsink as Chairman of the Executive Board with effect from October 1, 2025. Eijsink has more than 25 years of international experience in the logistics and transport sector. He began his career at Siemens and from 2003 held various management positions at Deutsche Post DHL, including CEO of DHL Freight Germany and CEO of DHL Freight Benelux & UK. In 2015, he moved to C.H. Robinson and held the position of President Europe there. In 2023, he became CEO of the Girteka Group. Eijsink succeeds the current Chairwoman of the Executive Board, Angela Titzrath, who will leave
the company on September 30, 2025, after nine years in office. The appointment is initially for three years.
Soloplan mourns the passing of co-founder, shareholder, and member of the management board Christine Heidl. The wife of CEO and company founder Wolfgang Heidl passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 74. After her training, Heidl initially worked as a pharmacy assistant in Kempten and Berlin. This was followed by a position as owner and operator of a second-hand shop, also in Berlin. In 1991, she acted as a co-founder of Soloplan. There, she served as Head of the Administration Department and Chief Financial Officer for over 30 years. She is survived by three grandchildren and three sons who are also active in the company.
Marc Blom has been appointed Director Fleet Sales & Electric Sales in the Marketing & Sales division at DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven. He has been with DAF Trucks since 1999 and has held various positions, including Area Sales Manager at DAF Trucks Netherlands and Sales Operations. In 2020, Blom became Managing Director of the DAF Trucks Austria & Switzerland branch
and has been in the position of Director Fleet Sales & Zero Emission at DAF Trucks Germany since January 2024.
The position of Director Fleet Sales & Zero Emission at DAF Trucks Germany GmbH will be taken over by Jan Bernert as Blom's successor. Bernert has been with the company since 2019 and was long-time Sales Director at DAF Trucks Germany GmbH before being appointed Managing Director of the DAF Trucks Frankfurt GmbH branch in early 2024.
Kai Rohden assumes the position of Managing Director of DAF Trucks Frankfurt GmbH. He has been with the company since 2017 and has held various positions within the sister company Paccar Parts, including Country Parts Manager for Germany and subsequently Regional Sales Director for Central Europe. In 2023, Rohden was appointed Manager of the new Paccar Parts Distribution Center in Maßbach (Germany).
