In total, 26 young professionals have started their careers at the Nosta Group and were welcomed with a three-day introductory program. From now on, these young talents will support the family company in the areas of freight forwarding and logistics services, warehouse logistics, specialist IT for system integration, office management, business administration, and as professional drivers. With this, the logistics company employs a total of 62 apprentices.
Nicolas Gallenkamp, CEO of the Nosta Group:
“We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues to NOSTA. We place great importance on passing on our extensive expertise and actively promoting dedicated young professionals.”
Particularly important for a
successful start is that new employees feel comfortable—regardless of their background or previous career path. Gallenkamp:
“Our team is becoming increasingly diverse: among the new apprentices are people with very different life paths and experiences. Especially for international collaboration, mutual understanding is a valuable key to success.”
From Commercial Training to Specialist IT
A total of 16 out of the 26 new apprentices are starting their commercial training this year in the field of freight forwarding and logistics services. The cohort is complemented by four future specialists in warehouse logistics, one specialist in IT for system integration, two office management professionals, one professional driver,
and two dual students in business administration, who attend lectures at the Osnabrück University alongside their practical work in the company.
More than half, specifically 14 of them, are starting their careers at the Osnabrück and Ladbergen locations. Additional reinforcements will join the branches in Aschersleben, Dortmund, Hamburg, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Schwerte, Siebenlehn, and Viernheim.
Visit to the Container Terminal Osnabrück
To lay the foundation for successful collaboration and ease the exciting entry into the professional world, the logistics service provider offers a diverse program. The aim is to strengthen the apprentices both professionally and personally from the very beginning, while also conveying the company's values
to them.
In addition to information about the training, practice-oriented workshops on communication and professional demeanor are part of the program. This allows the apprentices to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere while already gaining team experience.
The first stop was yesterday, Monday, at Hof Schlamann in Lengerich. In the coming days, the young professionals will also gain initial insights into the logistic processes of the warehouse at the Ladbergen location. The introduction days will conclude with a visit to the Container Terminal Osnabrück (CTOS), in which the Nosta Group is involved, aiming to illustrate the multifaceted nature and dynamics of
