Shell is further expanding its position as a provider of integrated mobility solutions for commercial fleets, according to its own statements. Shell Card holders now have access to more than one million charging points for electric vehicles in Europe.

The expanded charging network also includes 19,500 public Shell Recharge-ultra-fast charging
points – these are especially crucial for long distances and heavy-duty transport – as well as a roaming network of third-party providers.
The Shell Card enables access to the charging points as well as a unified billing and data analytics. With the Mobility Card, charging electric vehicles, refueling conventional internal-combustion vehicles
as well as BioLNG and HVO would be possible – an advantage for mixed fleets, according to Shell.

According to Melanie Falkenstern, head of Shell Fleet Solutions DACH, fleet operators in particular are expected to benefit from the high availability and charging speed – as well as from the
economic advantages of the network, it is said.
The charging infrastructure of the mobility service provider is particularly tailored to the needs of commercial users. With the expansion of the charging network, the company aims to contribute to the decarbonization of the transport sector and to achieving the European climate targets.
