The Chinese robotics specialist Realman Intelligent Technology is presenting its new AI-controlled lightweight robots at the automatica 2025 trade fair in Munich (Hall A4, Stand 220). The focus is on the ultra-light ECO series and a collaborative two-arm platform. The solutions are specifically aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and are intended to address key trade fair themes such as "Dynamic Automation" and "Healthtech".

Robots with Arms Against the Skilled Labor Shortage

Realman's robot platforms aim to address the skilled labor shortage and reduce entry barriers

to automation. Core features include AI-supported precision with a repeatability of ±0.05 mm, commissioning up to 70 percent faster according to their own claims, and an increased safety level in human-robot collaboration.

Models being presented include the ECO-62/63/65, said by the manufacturer to be particularly lightweight, industrial-grade robot arms, the compact six-axis RML-63 for pick-and-place tasks, the robust RM75-B for automotive and manufacturing applications, and a two-arm platform with autonomous mobility functions. All systems are based on proprietary actuators enabling precise real-time control.

At the trade fair, Realman will demonstrate, among other things, automated charging of e-vehicles, a simulated smart factory environment, and daily expert sessions on two-arm robotics. According to the company, Realman looks back on an experience base of over 20,000 installed units, holds more than 120 patents, and employs over 50 percent of its workforce in R&D.
