The Dr. Beckmann Group is expanding its partnership with the TST Group. In the course of expanding the production of the cleaning and detergent specialist in Egelsbach, the logistics service provider TST will in the future take on additional tasks along the entire logistics value chain – from the receipt of materials to sustainable factory disposal. The central hub of the expanded collaboration is the TST logistics location in Worms, which has been developed as a central node. A total of around 35,000 pallet spaces will be available there in the future.
Logistics capacities triple
The collaboration, which has existed since 2019, is anchored by a long-term contract. TST Managing Director Marcel Bicking speaks of a tripling of previous capacities
for the Dr. Beckmann Group. In addition to storage, TST will now also take over the complete supply of the plant with raw materials as well as the reverse factory disposal. Both processes will be logistically interconnected and consolidated.
As part of contract logistics, TST is also responsible for picking, packaging, and parcel shipping of trade-ready products, including classics like Dr. Beckmann Stain Devil, stain salts, and new products such as laundry sheets.
Sustainable transport with electric trucks
A key element of the expanded service is the switch to a sustainable transport solution: For the connection between the TST central warehouse in Worms and the Dr. Beckmann production site in Egelsbach, the logistics provider increasingly relies on electrically operated trucks.
These are charged with electricity from renewable sources – specifically from the corporate energy mix of TST subsidiary PamSun Energy GmbH, which since 2023 has been responsible for developing a nationwide charging network for electric trucks.
Fast charging park for electric trucks established
At TST in Worms, the first fast-charging park under the PamSun brand was opened in spring 2025. The facility comprises eight charging points with a charging capacity of up to 400 kW – designed for heavy-duty traffic, including parking spaces for trucks with trailers. The energy supply is based on photovoltaic systems on the roofs of TST centers and a green electricity mix from the market. In the future, over 20 locations with comparable charging infrastructure are
to be equipped. According to TST, experiences from Worms are already flowing into the development of future e-mobility hubs in Alzey, Wevelinghoven, and other logistics centers.
Logistics contribute to growth at Dr. Beckmann
For the Dr. Beckmann Group, the expanded logistics structure is a central component of its global growth strategy. The manufacturer, which is active in over 70 countries and recently experienced disproportionate growth in Latin America, France, and Poland, achieved sales of 270 million euros in 2024. By 2029, the company aims for annual sales growth of 12 to 13 percent.
