Since July 2025, the charging network of Fleetcor, operated in partnership with Plugsurfing, has encompassed over a million charging points in 27 European countries. This opens up a significantly expanded infrastructure for commercial users to charge electric vehicles – including around 175,000 fast charging points. Integration into the network is via the Fleetcor Travelcard, which enables centralized billing and thus reduces administrative effort.
Strong increase in charging points in the first half of
2025
The number of charging points in the Fleetcor network increased from about 880,000 to over a million in the first half of 2025. The expansion reflects the growing importance of electromobility in the corporate sector, according to the provider. They aim to facilitate the transition to electric drives for commercial fleets and provide practical solutions.
In addition to expanding the charging infrastructure, Fleetcor offers additional digital services via its own app. This
enables, among other things, the search for charging points, route planning with charging stops, and mobile payment. The app is available to both existing customers and interested companies.
Further expansion of the charging network is planned
According to their own statements, Fleetcor is pursuing a long-term strategy to make fleet management more efficient and future-proof. The further expansion of the charging network and the integration of new services are intended to contribute to
the acceptance and operational feasibility of electromobility in everyday commercial life. Currently, the company says it serves more than 100,000 corporate customers in Europe.
Also in July, the provider DKV Mobility reported reaching the milestone of 1 million charging points in the network. The opening of a new truck-compatible fast charging station in Raubling underscores DKV Mobility's commitment to expanding the charging infrastructure along key traffic axes, according to the mobility service provider.
