The Beutlhauser Group is expanding its portfolio in the area of forklift trucks with products from the Chinese manufacturer Baoli. In doing so, the company states that it is responding to the growing importance of Asian suppliers in the German market and the resulting price pressure.
In addition to Linde Material Handling's premium equipment, Beutlhauser will also market Baoli stackers and warehouse equipment in eastern Saxony, eastern Bavaria, as well as in eastern
and southern Brandenburg. Both brands belong to the Kion Group, which ensures close technical integration.
Baoli: Entry solution for businesses with simple or moderate forklift needs
Baoli positions itself with solid and cost-effective technology as an entry solution for businesses with simple or moderate usage needs. The devices are considered robust, user-friendly and meet European standards. Target groups are especially companies with a modest fleet deployment as well as users who require additional
standby devices.
According to the company, customers benefit from the technical experience of the Kion Group and from comprehensive CE conformity.
For the support of the new product line, Beutlhauser points to its established service and spare parts network. It is complemented by a Baoli central warehouse in the Czech Republic, which is to be continuously expanded. This is intended to ensure a reliable spare parts supply. Initial demonstrations and test deployments at
customers are already underway according to Beutlhauser and would be viewed positively by the company.
The Beutlhauser Group, based in Passau, recently generated revenue of 592 million euros. About 1,500 employees at 27 locations oversee the business areas of sales, rental and service. Core brands include, besides Linde and Baoli, Liebherr construction machinery as well as Mercedes-Benz Unimog vehicles.
