With numerous customers, partners, and guests, Nox Germany GmbH celebrated the opening of its new depot in Krefeld on July 3. The location is not only a logistical hub for the "NightExpress" service but also serves as a best-practice site within the Nox Group, the logistics service provider announced on July 4.
At the event, guests were given insight into the modern hall and processes,
which are designed to make the flow of goods efficient and sustainable. Clear structures, short distances, and a well-thought-out traffic management in the indoor and outdoor areas ensure smooth processes. Sustainability at the site is supported by a photovoltaic system, energy-efficient LED lighting, and paperless information systems.
The new depot processes up to 12,000 packages daily and is intended to ensure reliable "NightExpress" delivery by
the next morning. An integrated experience center with a visitor's gallery allows guests a direct view of the "NightExpress" operations without disrupting ongoing operations. This proximity to the operational activities will be used in the future for customer events and internal training.

location in Krefeld, we are setting a benchmark for our depots in Germany as well as in Austria, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The location demonstrates how we consistently align our processes with customer needs while combining efficiency and sustainability."
