Austrian Post AG has opened the first self-service branch in Graz at Idlhofgasse 37. With its over 1,300 pickup lockers, the 210-square-meter site is also Austria’s largest 24/7 self-service branch. Peter Umundum, Deputy CEO, Board Member for Parcels & Logistics, Austrian Post AG:

Around 10,000 households in the Gries district will thus have the opportunity to pick up or send their packages around the clock. Shipping stations also
enable postage and dispatch of packages or returns.
Additionally, the site was equipped with a flexible counter that, according to the company, can be staffed during the peak season at Christmas time. This also makes the pickup of bulky parcels possible, which would not fit in a post office.
