The provider of fuel and charge cards UTA Edenred has announced a collaboration with GP Joule. In this collaboration, the infrastructure project developer GP Joule Connect is to become the preferred partner for the development of DC charging infrastructure for UTA Edenred's customers.
Advancing Electrification
Over 60,000 UTA corporate customers are expected to receive customized
support in transitioning to electric commercial vehicles through the partnership, it is reported. The goal is to further advance the sustainable transport sector.
According to the information, the service offering for depot charging includes a comprehensive needs analysis, planning, and the realization of the corresponding AC or DC charging infrastructure. Additionally, it includes technical operation,
training, efficient charging management, and the processing of charging events.
Monetizing Charging Infrastructure
Companies should also be enabled to monetize their charging infrastructure by making it available to third parties for a fee, thus expanding their charging network within the framework of semi-public charging.
The processing of charging events and the charging management for home
and depot charging is carried out through the software platform of Spirii.
"Our many years of experience in the field of charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles enables us to fully plan and quickly implement solutions for UTA Edenred's customers," says Manuel Reich, Managing Director at GP Joule Connect: "We are looking forward to the collaboration."
