For around ten years, ID Logistics has been supporting Puma in building its supply chain in the French town of Landersheim. In early 2026, the activities are to be fully relocated to the new site in Vendenheim, France, and operations at this site are to commence on 3 November 2025 and be ramped up gradually. Eric Hemar, CEO of ID Logistics:
“With the new site in Vendenheim, we are taking a big
step forward in our partnership with Puma. By combining Autostore and a state-of-the-art technology ecosystem, we contribute to a more agile, more sustainable and forward-looking supply chain.”
The 41,000-square-meter site comprises four hall units and, according to ID Logistics, is equipped with a rooftop photovoltaic installation, intelligent LED lighting, and rainwater harvesting systems.
Automation and Digitalization
At the same time, Vendenheim features an Autostore system operated by the logistics provider. With 70,000
containers and nearly 100 robots, the robotic system is expected to guarantee both higher storage density and faster and more reliable operations. The facility is said to balance seasonal peaks and support the brand's strategy.
Around Autostore, a technological ecosystem optimizes every step of the chain. Telescopic conveyors would enable more ergonomic unloading, automated carton erectors to improve preparation efficiency, Cubiscan devices would be at the goods receipt, carton sealing machines with
height-reduction features at shipping for tailored and environmentally friendly packaging, and digital easy-check-in solutions to coordinate transport operations. Everything would be controlled by the Reflex WMS, which is connected to Puma's SAP ERP system and guarantees real-time traceability and transparency. Régis Oberle, Head of Operations for France at Puma:
“This site illustrates our commitment to developing more environmentally friendly logistics and helps to align our activities with our ambitions regarding social and
